Family Supper
Next Thursday September 22 is our first "Family Supper" of the school year. Part of our Household Initiative, Family Suppers are lunch times that bring ICS students and teachers together in their Households.

The rationale: strong "families" eat together.

During Family Suppers the entire school eats lunch between 12:10 – 1:10. Therefore, coordinating the purchase of lunches on those days is imperative. Order forms for our 9/22 Family Supper will be sent next Thursday.

If your child purchases a lunch through their lunch card, just fill out the order form and return it. The cost of the order will be deducted from the lunch card.

If your child purchases a lunch through cash, please send the money in along with the order form. Should change need to be given it will be delivered back to your child.

If your child packs but purchases (through either a lunch card or with cash) additional items / snacks, they will not be able to do so on Family Supper days. Please pack enough food / drink for your son or daughter if they are not purchasing a lunch.

If your child packs everything they eat / drink throughout the day, just send them to school as you always do!

Please be sure to check today's Thursday Envelope for the order form. So that we can adequately plan, please submit orders by Tuesday September 20!

Conferences
On Thursday September 29, ICS teachers will host our first conference session of the school year. Sign-up forms to request a time to speak with your child(ren)'s teacher(s) are included in this week's Thursday Envelope. Please take advantage of this opportunity to dialogue with teachers about the progress of your child(ren). Fill out the form, send it back in to school and we will do all that we can to accommodate your request!
