PRAYER INTENTIONS
Please pray for the Baker family as they mourn the loss of their son, Ryan. Ryan was a 2013 graduate of ICS who's older brother Grant graduated from ICS in 2012. Ryan lost his battle with cancer and returned to the Lord this past Tuesday. May God grant the family comfort, peace and strength during this difficult time. For more details, please see the letter included in today's packet.
Please continue to pray for Mrs. Mireida Abad, Jennifer Lopez's (Grade 7) mother, as she continues to fight an illness over the past few weeks. May God grant her healing and strength.
Please pray for our Pastor, Fr. Michael Suszynski, today on his birthday!
We ask for prayers for Ms. Virginia Fahy, cousin of Ms. Cummings (Kindergarten teacher). Ms. Fahy is in the hospital battling pneumonia and the flu. May God grant her health and a speedy recovery.
Have a prayer intention? Send it to icsmzele@icstampa.org
GEOGRAPHY BEE
Congratulations to the participants in the 2014 Geography Bee. Congrats to Champion Adam Receniello (Grade 7) and 2nd place Malio Mayo (Grade 5)!
HOME AND SCHOOL UPDATE
Many thanks to the families who helped to make our 2013 Reach for the Stars Auction and the Payday Sweepstakes Raffle such huge successes! The Auction brought in just over $35,000 for the school! Thanks once again to the many volunteers and attendees! The Raffle brought in just over $10,000! Special thanks to all of those who sold / bought tickets!
Remember that each family was expected to raise $150 between these two events. As we near the 1/2 way point of the school year, notification will be sent as to your family's status toward this commitment. Also remember that 20 hours of service back to the school is also an expectation of families. Notice will also be sent updating families as to their current status.
Some changes to some of the dates of upcoming HSA events are in the process of being rescheduled. Most notably, the 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament (1/25) and Scrapbooking Day (2/15) will take place on other dates. Stay tuned!
INVITATION TO PARENTS / FAMILIES

Please note these events mentioned above that parents are welcome to attend!
