Welcome to the first ever Frequently Asked Questions page for the Incarnation Carnival!

Have a question about Carnival? See below (*please note that this was not one of the most frequently asked questions!).

Q: When is this year's Carnival?
A: Thursday April 14, 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Friday April 15, 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
Saturday April 16, 2:00 p.m - 12:00 a.m.
Sunday April 17, 1:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Q: Do I pay to get in?
A: No. Admission and parking are free! Ride and food tickets are available for purchase.

Q: How much are ride tickets?
A: You can buy a sheet of 20 ride tickets for $20.00 (rides typically "cost" 3 - 5 tickets).

Q: That doesn't seem like a very good deal. Since you know me, can I get some sort of discount?
A: Yes! You can buy a wristband for one day of unlimited rides for $25.00 from now until Wednesday April 13! After Wednesday April 13, the price for one day of unlimited rides increases to $35.00.

Q: Okay, but I'm your best friend. Got anything better?
A: Yes! If you buy three days of unlimited rides you get the fourth day free! So, you can get a 4-day unlimited ride wristband for $75.00!

Q: How do I pre-buy my tickets?
A: You can either go to this website: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/52nd-annual-incarnation-church-school-carnival-tickets-22978702919 or stop by the Church or School offices.

Q: If I buy a one-day unlimited wristband in advance, do I need to tell you which day?
A: No. If you pre-buy a one-day unlimited wristband we will give you the band when you check in at the Information booth. If you come on Friday we will be sure to give you the band for Friday. Change of plans? That's okay, we can give you that one-day band on either Saturday or Sunday.

Q: But how will the ride company know my one-day band is for the right day?
A: Each of the one-day bands will be color coded each day. Ride vendors will check to ensure you have the right band for that day.

Q: When is the last day to purchase tickets in advance?
The final day to purchase tickets in advance is Wednesday April 13. You can stop by the Church office until 4:00 p.m.; the School office also closes at 4:00 p.m. To help enhance sales, food and ride tickets will be sold in the foyer of St. Michael Hall on April 11, 12 and 13 from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.. But, online purchasing (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/52nd-annual-incarnation-church-school-carnival-tickets-22978702919) is 24 hours a day and continues until 4/13/16 at 11:59 p.m.

Q: What if it rains and/or I can't make it? I get a refund, right?
A: Sorry, even though you are my best friend there are no refunds or exchanges.

Q: Sweet!
A: That wasn't a question.

Q: I know, I'm just upset.
A: That wasn't a question either.

Q: Okay, let's get back on track. If I get my kid a four-day unlimited band, can I drop him off when Carnival opens each day and then come back to pick him up each night when Carnival ends?
A: No. Even though we will have volunteers from both the Church and School on campus working the event, there is NO SUPERVISION of children that will be provided for you. You are responsible for your own children throughout the course of the event. Also, please note that the security measures followed throughout the school day (Level II Background Screening, Safe Environment Training) are not used for this event.

Q: Is the event open to the public or just those associated with Incarnation?
A: The event is open to the public. All are welcome but we do reserve the right to ask individuals to leave.

Q: How much are food tickets?
A: Tickets are sold in $1.00 increments and are worth $0.50 each. Sheets of 20 food tickets cost $10.00. Based on pricing for the event, $10.00 is enough for you to buy a meal and drink and maybe even an ice cream or dessert!

Q: Will there be entertainment?
A: Yes. For the full list of our entertainment line-up, follow this link: http://www.icstampa.org/carnival-entertainment.html

Q: Are all volunteers parents of ICS or does the carnival ride company run everything?
A: No, carnival rides are run by our carnival company, but the food and game booths are completely run by our parish and school parents and teachers! What a great way to get to know other members of our ICS family.

Q: Which leads me to the next question, are they bringing all of the game booths back?
A: Back by popular demand are some of your favorite game booths from past years as well as some new ones...with lots of fun prizes!

Q: I heard there was a talent show, when is that?
A: Yes, there is an ICS Talent Show. Our music teacher, Ms. Maniscalco has been working with the students and put together show of over 30 acts for Sunday 4/17 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. on the entertainment stage.

Q: And can I be in it?
