Prayers
Let us join together as a community of believers to pray for the following:

-We pray for all students, families and teachers as we embark upon a new school year. May the spirit of Jesus the Teacher continue to inspire us and guide us.

-We pray for the Maggio (Dominick, Gr. 3), Mike (Sebastian, Shannelle, and Solange, Gr. 3, 2, and PreK), and Peach (Caitlin, Gr. 8) families as they mourn the loss of loved ones. May God offer comfort, peace and strength for these families during this difficult time.

-We pray for all of those within our school community who are sick and suffering, especially the McInerney, Finley, and Rosario families. May God's healing hand help speed the recovery of all of those who are sick.

-We pray for peace in Iraq and in our world. May the Prince of Peace soften the hearts of all of those who are enflamed by anger, bitterness and hostility.

Have a prayer request? Send it to: icsmzele@icstampa.org. Prayers will run for two weeks unless otherwise specified.

Thank You
I once again want to thank all families for their support and dedication of Incarnation Catholic School at the beginning of this 2014 - 15 school year. Partnering with you to educate your children in the Catholic faith is an enormous responsibility that we take extremely seriously. Know of our continued efforts to do all that we can to provide the best education possible for your children. AMAZING ICS teachers believe that you as parents / families are the primary educators of your children. As such we will partner with you, dialogue with you and work cooperatively with you to help you with this task!

Carline
-DROP-OFF
Thank you to all families for your efforts to establish routines and structures that help to get students to school on time. Please know that for the first two weeks of school we are excusing tardies (they are being recorded but won't accumulate to any time of punishment).

If you arrive on campus between 7:00 - 7:25 a.m. you can either use the normal drop-off route or park and walk your student into St. Michael Hall. At 7:30, the morning drop-off route should be used by all families. Parking to walk students into school past 7:25 a.m. causes a delay in our drop-off line and is a safety hazard. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

-PICK-UP
In this same spirit of thanksgiving, thank you again for your patience with our pick-up procedure. For those of you who have been through the line Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, hopefully you have noticed the process becoming more and more efficient. Know of our continued efforts to improve this and all aspects of our school.

Signs with the names of your child(ren) have been or will be disseminated to students yesterday and today. Please to put this sign on the passenger side of your dashboard or in one of the passenger windows to help us expedite the afternoon pick-up procedure even further.

ICS Family Challenge
Everyone of us wakes up hoping to be the best versions of ourselves. Life frequently gets in the way and we inevitably end up short of that ideal. Being our best takes work, effort and dedication. This year, we want all ICS families to be the best that they can be. Please prayerfully consider entering the ICS Family Challenge:

1. Pray together as a family at least once per week
2. Eat together as a family at least once per week
3. Play together as a family at least once per month

Strong families create strong kids. Strong kids turn into strong adults. Strong adults can change the world. This year, be the best family you can be to help your kids be the best they can be! As you tackle this challenge and see the Hand of God working miracles within your family, please share your experiences (stories, photos, ideas, etc.). Send them to: icsmzele@icstampa.org.

GO Irish!

-Pope Francis I
