Prayers
We pray for the people of Ecuador and Japan who have been affected by the recent earthquakes. May God help to restore the loss of life and property and bring healing and hope to these devastated lands.

We pray in thanksgiving for an outstanding Incarnation Carnival! The weather was gorgeous and the event was a wonderful celebration of our Incarnation community!

We pray for our 2nd and 8th graders who will be receiving the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation, respectively, in the upcoming month of May. May God continue to lead and guide them on the final stages of their journeys of faith and may these students experience Jesus's graces in new and transforming ways through these Sacraments of Initiation!

We lift up Kiera Jordan, friend of Elijah Carbo (Gr. 3) who has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. We pray for Kiera and her doctors. May God's healing hand lead her to a full recovery.

We pray for Kai Schultz, nephew of Mrs. Ostrander (Devon and Ethan, Gr. 6 and 8). Kai passed into eternal life this past Wednesday. May God grant Kai eternal rest and may God give the family His strength and peace during this difficult time.

We continue to pray for Blake Rey (ICS Class of 2011) and his family as they mourn the loss of his mother, Gina, who passed into eternal life after losing her battle with cancer. May God surround the Rey family and usher to them His love, comfort and peace.

We continue to pray for Mrs. Gonzalez who is still waiting for her daughter to arrive! May everything go well with the birth and may God bless her expanding family!

We continue to pray for Coach Garofolo and his wife for continued good health in the pregnancy of their second child!

We pray for the continued recovery of Flavio da Silva, Mickaella Marcal's (Gr. 2) father.

Have a prayer request? Send it to icsmzele@icstampa.org

Hope Will Rise

At ICS we embrace a philosophy of discipline that focuses on creating disciples of Christ. For more details on this approach, visit this link: http://icscatholicedu.blogspot.com/2010/08/discipline-to-disciple.html

Seeing discipline through the lens of solving a problem makes the disciplinary process entirely hopeful!

Focus on solutions, not retribution and HOPE WILL RISE!

ICS Academics
Last week we mentioned the importance of embracing a Growth Mindset in relation to learning.

ICS Faith
Pray with your family, especially your kids. Pray for your family, especially your kids. Put God first in your family and watch Him put your family in His loving hands.

Parents are the primary educators of their children, especially in the area of faith!

Want more insights on family from Pope Francis? Check out his latest exhortation, Amoris Laetitiahttps://w2.vatican.va/content/dam/francesco/pdf/apost_exhortations/documents/papa-francesco_esortazione-ap_20160319_amoris-laetitia_en.pdf

ICS Digital Media
How many Vine clips or YouTube videos do you watch in a day? How about the number of songs or podcasts to which you listen? A lot, right?! How many of those fill your hearts or minds and make you better?

How about filling that audio-visual space in your lives with something aimed at your personal development and enhancement? Check out this resource of homilies from Fr. Mike Schmitz: http://bulldogcatholic.org/heroic-confidence/

I guarantee it will be 20 minutes well spent and you will want more and more! Check it out!

Incarnation Carnival - Thank you!
The 52nd Annual Incarnation Carnival was an incredible success!

Thank you to our many parent volunteers. We thank the many members of the parish who played a huge role in the planning and execution of the event, too!

We set out to throw a 4-day celebration of the Incarnation community that brought us closer together and closer to God.

Mission accomplished!

Thank you!
