REMINDER - Hurricane Make-up Days
Remember that due to a number of factors, we will not be required to make up the day we missed on October 7 because of Hurricane Matthew.

Please note that we are still required to make up the earlier days from Hurricane Hermine. As a reminder, our school will be making those up on May 30 and 31.

Prayers
Please join us in praying for the following:

*In thanksgiving for all of the many gifts and blessings God has bestowed upon ICS
*The great uncle of Mia Cora and Sloan Saavedra, who passed into eternal life
*The DeSouza family, whose business warehouse was destroyed in a fire
*Ms. Sanchez's friend, Alexis, who was diagnosed with Lymphoma
*Continued protection of all life and property throughout the remainder of hurricane season
*Peace in our hearts, homes and country

Have a person or intention to add to our prayer list? Send it to icsmzele@icstampa.org

REMINDER - Havana Nights - Online Bidding through QTego
There are still some great items from this year's Auction still available for purchase. Visit our online bidding site: https://qtego.net/qlink/incarnation. Anyone is allowed to make an online bid (whether you attended Auction or not).

If you have any questions about bidding on these available items, please contact Mrs. Melendez, our Auction Chair: auction@icstampa.org or (813) 203-6951.

Fund the Need
As mentioned last week, for the second year in a row ICS was able to secure additional funds for a special project at our annual Auction!

This year (2016), attendees of the Auction generated over $15,000 toward the purchase of another 30 iPads and a charging cart as the next phase of our ICS Dynamic Learning initiative. This incredible outpouring of support will once again have an immediate impact! This new set of iPads should be ready for ICS student use by January 2017!

Thank you to everyone who stepped up to fund this need!

If you are still interested in donating to this initiative (even if you did not attend / did not already pledge a donation), please contact Mr. Zelenka: icsmzele@icstampa.org or send in your gift to the Front Office. More funds could help us secure additional equipment and software to enhance the 21st Century resources at ICS!

ICS Thanksgiving Pie Fundraiser
Village Inn has partnered with us for our second Thanksgiving Pie Fundraiser!

The cards are $12.50 each and checks can be made payable to ICS.  The gift cards will be in the front office for pick up, or will be sent home in your child’s Thursday envelope.

Please return your payment to Mrs. Valdez in the front office if you would like to purchase a PIE GIFT CARD, good towards one Village Inn Pie.

Please Note:
**These are live gift cards – if you misplace it we are unable to refund your money.

**The cards can be used to purchase pies in any Village Inn restaurant, and have NO EXPIRATION.  Would make a great gift as well!  These flavors are included: French Silk, Cherry, Coconut Cream, Pumpkin, Berry, Apple, Lemon Meringue, Strawberry Rhubarb, Lemon Supreme.

If you would like to purchase a flavor not included in this list, you may still use the value of the card ($12.50) and just pay the difference in the Village Inn Restaurant towards the pie you want.  Cards are not redeemable for anything other than pies.  You must still place your pie order with the Village Inn location where you would like to pick up your pie, or you can purchase what is available in their restaurant on a first come, first serve basis.

Box Tops for Education
*A message from Liz Waibel, our ICS Box Tops Coordinator:

Parents! My name is Liz Waibel and I’m thrilled to be our school’s Box Tops for Education™ Coordinator.

Clipping Box Tops is an easy way to help earn cash for our school. Box Tops are each worth 10¢ and they add up fast! Just look for the pink Box Tops on hundreds of products. All you have to do is clip them and send them to school. Please remember to note the "teacher name/Homeroom" in order to keep track of incoming Box Tops.

Last school year, we earned $385.20. This school year, our goal is to earn $1,000!

For more information on Box Tops, including a list of participating products, go to BTFE.com. Be sure to sign up as a member (it’s free!) so you can check out our school’s earnings details and get access to coupons and bonus offers.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’m here to help make our school’s Box Tops for Education™ program a huge success this year.

Thanks for your help!
