Prayers
We continue to pray for all of the following intentions:

-We lift up in prayer Mia Wybel's (Grade 7) grandfather, Mr. John Tragon II, who is in the hospital. May God grant Mr. Tragon a speedy recovery and offer to Mia and her family peace and comfort during this difficult time.

-We pray for the Balco family (Shawna and Nicole, Grades K and 3, and their grandmother Mrs. Balco, former ICS teacher) as they mourn the loss of Mrs. Balco's nephew. May God offer to the Balco family His strength and wisdom during this trying time.

-We hold Evan Matthews (Kindergarten) and his family in prayer as they mourn the loss of Evan's maternal great-grandfather, Peter Molodecki, Sr. May God grant comfort and peace to the Matthews family.

-We also pray for Reyvalen Lozada (Kindergarten) and his family, as they mourn the loss of Reyvalen's paternal grandfather, Valentin Lozada. We pray that God ushers His strength and healing to the family during this difficult time.

We also pray for all of our students who were initiated into the Church during the Easter Vigil this past month. These students received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist! Congratulations and welcome to the Body of Christ!

We also pray for all of our students who will be receiving the Sacrament of the Eucharist in less than two weeks! May God be with these students (mostly 2nd graders) and their families and may they serve as wonderful reminders and examples of reverence for the Eucharist.

Finally, we pray for all of our students (8th graders) who will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation in just under one month. We pray that through the gifts of the Holy Spirit - Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety and Fear of the Lord - our newly confirmed will live with renewed vigor for Jesus Christ!

Have a prayer request? Send it to: icsmzele@icstampa.org. Prayers will run for two weeks unless otherwise specified.

Thank You
We once again thank Mr. Dave Arnold and the members of our Carnival Committee as well as the countless volunteers and students who worked so hard this past weekend to make our ICS Spring Funfest 2015 such a success!

Thank you as well to Dr. Charles Moore and MLI Marketing Solutions (Saavedra Family) for helping with our Yeti cooler raffle to benefit our iPad cart fund. Over $800 was generated that will help to bring us closer to making this effort a reality (we are still about $1,000 of our $5,000 match grant and donations can still be made!). Congrats to the Moore and Straughn families, winners of the Yeti coolers!

Thank you once again to all involved! We are already looking forward to next year's event!

ICS Family Challenge
Today's ICS Family Challenge quote is from the musical group, Needtobreathe, and their song, Brother. Everybody needs someone to help light the way - be that light for others, especially those closest and most important to you - your family!

Remember that God, in His infinite wisdom, created humans in His image and likeness. When we work together in community with others we participate in the mystery of the Trinity - that God is three persons in one God. God is relational and He desires a relationship with you through your loving relationships with others.

May God bless you and all of our ICS families!

Love always wins! ALWAYS! Alleluia!
