PRAYER INTENTIONS
Middle School students help younger students to their Households.
We continue to pray for Mrs. Bujak and her family as they continue to mourn the loss of her father. May God grant the Bujak family comfort, strength and peace during this difficult time.

We lift up the Rueda family (Carlos, grade 6). Mrs. Rueda's grandmother, Carlos's great grandmother, is in the hospital. May God's healing hand bring health and a quick recovery.

We also pray for the Dizon family (Antonio and Ashton, grades 7 and 2). Mrs. Dizon's mother, Antonio and Ashton's grandmother, is also in the hospital. We pray for God to grant her health and strength.

Mrs. Varela (mother of Javier, grade 7) was recently in the hospital. Please pray for her recovery and health as well.

Have a prayer intention? Send it to icsmzele@icstampa.org. Prayer requests will run for two weeks unless specified otherwise.

CELEBRATING SUCCESSES

ICS Alumnae, Samantha Stevens, graduated from ICS in 2011 and began as a Freshman at Tampa Catholic the same year. Service has always played an important part in Samantha’s life. She volunteers at Metropolitan Ministries, is an Alter Server for Incarnation and TC, works every summer at St. Joseph’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital and volunteers at many other community organizations.
Samantha received the President’s Volunteer Service Award two years in a row. As a Freshman at Tampa Catholic she earned the Bronze Award for 124 hours of service and as a Sophomore she earned the Silver Award for 194 hours of service.

Great job, Samantha! We are proud to call you one of ICS's own!

Do you know of an ICS alumnus who has found success in the areas of academics, athletics, leadership, service or ministry that should be featured in our Newsletter? If so, please help us to recognize the sons and daughters of Incarnation Catholic School by sending notification to Mr. Zelenka: icsmzele@icstampa.org. GO IRISH!

HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION
Students should adhere to the following guidelines for our Halloween Celebration on Thursday October 31.

*Storybook Character Costumes:
-Pre - K to Grade 5

-Any easily identifiable character from literature: Cinderella, Aladdin, Harry Potter, Fancy Nancy, Clifford, etc. No blood, weapons, etc. The purpose of our dress is to promote school spirit, promote a love of reading and have fun. It is not to scare or gross out. Thank you for maintaining this rationale for this celebration.

*Any student not participating in Storybook Character Costume Day should wear their regulation school uniform.

*Crazy Hair Day
-Grades 6 - 8

-Horrible hair -- different size ponytails, braids, curls, spikes, messy, wigs, rubber bands, colors, etc. ALL HAIRDOS MUST BE DONE AT HOME.

-Students in grades 6 - 8 are permitted to wear Spirit Shirts, jeans and sneakers. School uniform is the alternative.

In keeping with our tradition, we at Incarnation Catholic School:
Inspire life-long learning,
Challenge each individual to be a disciple of Christ, and
Strive to live our Catholic faith through service to each other and the community.
