Let us continue to pray for the following people:
-Jack Foy
-Mireida Abad
-The Baker Family
-Phil Kinen
-The Doyle Family

Have a prayer intention? Send it to icsmzele@icstampa.org

HALL OF HONORS

Our 2nd class of inductees into the Incarnation Catholic School Hall of Honors will take place on Friday May 2. If you would like to nominate someone for induction, please contact the Main Office for a nomination form. You can also visit our school's webpage: Hall of Honors

Criteria for the Hall of Honors are included here:

Incarnation Catholic School graduates go on to successful high school, college and professional careers. And wherever they work, in whatever discipline they are in, you can find them at the top. This is due in part to the strong academic and spiritual foundation laid at ICS, at the outstanding homes of ICS families and as a result of the exemplar moral character of individual ICS students, faculty, staff, priests and volunteers.
The Incarnation Catholic School Hall of Honors recognizes alumni, faculty and staff, parents, priests, benefactors and friends of the school who made significant contributions to the School, Church, and / or world at large.
Candidates for the Incarnation Catholic School Hall of Honors must be nominated by someone other than the nominee him/herself. The School Advisory Board of Incarnation Catholic School, in consultation with the Pastor and Principal, review nominations and select qualified candidates for the year's class of inductees.
Nominations are due by March 15, 2014.

STATE OF THE 'NATION

As a way to fully communicate the vision for the future of Incarnation Catholic School, parents and families are invited to one of two State of the 'Nation meetings. Sessions will be held on Thursday March 6 at 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday March 8 at 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in the Church (come on Saturday and then stay for Carnival set-up, see below). Childcare will be available. One commitment hour will be awarded for your family's attendance.

Topics will include: tuition rates for 2014 - 15, development of an early childhood program, Home and School, and an overview of initiatives currently being developed in support of our Florida Catholic Conference Accreditation.

Your attendance is both expected and appreciated. Please plan to attend either of the two sessions.

CARNIVAL SET-UP

Saturday March 8 is the first day of Carnival set-up. Your help and support is needed for this Church and School event. The Carnival is the largest fundraiser sponsored by either the Church or the School and requires the efforts of our entire Incarnation community! We hope to see you on the 8th of March!

This effort is open to all school parents. The ICS Dads Club, though, is leading the charge. If you want to be included in ICS Dads Club emails, please contact Dads Club Correspondent, Chris Newcom: chris@bastcorp.com

CARNIVAL VOLUNTEERS

The Incarnation Carnival is the largest fundraiser held on the Incarnation Campus. As such, its profit goes to benefit the many ministries within the Church, but most specifically the largest ministry -  ICS! Your service and attendance at this annual event is imperative to guarantee its success! Please note the following schedule for the 2014 Carnival. Sign-ups for volunteer shifts will be coming soon. Stay tuned!

Friday April 4: 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
Saturday April 5: 2:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.

Mark your calendars and plan to attend, volunteer and enjoy!

SACRED STEPS RUNNING CLUB

So that we can begin to host our 1st graders as members in Sacred Steps Running Club extra volunteers are needed. If you are interested in helping with Sacred Steps and you have completed Level II background screening and Safe Environment Program training, please contact Mr. Zelenka: icsmzele@icstampa.org

You need not be a runner to help; all levels of fitness are welcome. SSRC meets Thursdays from 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. Commitment hours will be given. In a way, you'll be getting paid to workout!

PASTA FOR PENNIES PRIORY "PENNY WAR" SPIRIT DAY

As a way both to wrap up our efforts in the Pasta for Pennies drive and to excite students about next week's Iowa Assessment, all students will be afforded an Irish Incarnation Spirit Day tomorrow for $1.00. Students are permitted to dress in Irish Incarnation Spirit Day attire ( visit this link for details: Irish Incarnation Spirit Day Attire)  by paying $1.00 toward the Pasta for Pennies Priory "Penny War". Remember that dollars count positively for Priories! Currently, the "M" Priory is in the lead. Go IRISH!

In keeping with our tradition, we at Incarnation Catholic School:
Inspire life-long learning,
Challenge each individual to be a disciple of Christ, and
Strive to live our Catholic faith through service to each other and the community.
