Prayers
Please join in praying for the following intentions:
-We continue to pray for members of our school community who are sick and suffering from illness. May God grant them strength and healing.
-We also continue to pray for peace in our world.
-We pray for our Church leaders, especially Pope Francis I, Bishop Lynch and Fr. Michael Suszynski. May they continue to shepherd and lead us closer to God.
-We pray for the upcoming Extraordinary Synod in the Catholic Church focused on Marriage and Families. May God strengthen all families and nurture them with love, patience and forgiveness.
-We pray in thanksgiving for the gift of life from conception to its natural end.

Thank You
Thank you to students and teachers for a successful start of the 2014 - 15 school year. Parents, we thank you for partnering with us to educate your children in the Catholic faith. GO Irish!
ICS Athletics
The varsity boys' soccer team has started its 2014 season with three straight victories. Up next for the Varsity soccer team is a game this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. here at ICS. The game against St. Lawrence that was cancelled yesterday has been rescheduled for 9/24/14 at St. Lawrence at 4:00 p.m.
The JV soccer team will follow up its season opening win in another game tomorrow Friday September 19 as they travel to Academy at the Lakes for a 4:30 kick-off.
The Varsity and JV Volleyball teams also play at home today: Varsity at 4:00 p.m., with the JV game to follow immediately after.

Did you know that ICS is the only Catholic School in our Hillsborough Catholic Youth Sports League to offer a JV soccer program? At ICS we care about the development of our student-athletes! GO Irish!

ICS Family Challenge
Thank you and congratulations to the Falcone Family, the first ICS Family to tackle our 14-15 Family Challenge. The Falcones ventured out to a Rays game and a USF Bulls game. Thanks for sharing and we hope that this intentional time to play was filled with blessing!
All ICS Families are encouraged to:
1. Pray together as a family at least once per week
2. Eat together as a family at least once per week
3. Play together as a family at least once per month
Share your experiences (stories, photos, ideas, etc.) as you put God first and in the center of your family: icsmzele@icstampa.org. The blessing will be beyond anything you can imagine.

Moms and Tots
Today is our second ever Moms and Tots Group hosted by ICS. This event is open to moms and toddlers ages 2 - 3. The next session will be Thursday September 25 at 9:00 a.m. There is no charge for this ministry! Contact Ms. Rachel Noto for more information or to sign-up: notor@icstampa.org and please help us spread the good news of this initiative.

Tomorrow is our annual ICS Spaghetti Dinner. We will gather in St. Michael Hall tomorrow Friday September 19 from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. for an evening of food, fun and fellowship! We hope to see you tomorrow evening. If you have any questions about the Spaghetti Dinner, please contact the Main Office: 813.884.4502
In addition to a great meal and an even better atmosphere, families in attendance will have the opportunity to visit our ICS Book Fair in our new ICS Media Center! This preview event will open at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and will be your first chance to purchase books at our Fall Book Fair! If you have questions about this opening night of the Book Fair, please contact Mrs. Brown: brownj@icstampa.org.
