Prayers
We pray in thanksgiving for the many blessings bestowed upon ICS over the course of the past week. From winning the HCYSL Flag Football Championship, to 8th graders receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation, to our Easter Concert and then the Irish Cup Championship, last week was filled with God's graces. We thank Him for all of His love! God is good!

We continue to pray for our 8th graders and their chaperones as they visit Washington D.C. this week. May God watch over them and protect them and bring them safely back to ICS on Saturday morning!

We pray for Mrs. Sharon Slowey and her family as they grieve the passing of her granddaughter, Mattison Rose Slowey Thomas. We pray that the Lord of all strength and healing be with ICS's beloved Coach Slowey and her family throughout this tragic situation.

We continue to pray for the McDarby family as they mourn the loss of their son and brother, Rob, a 1983 graduate of Incarnation Catholic School. May God be with the McDarby family during this difficult time.

Have a prayer request? Send it to: icsmzele@icstampa.org. Prayers will run for two weeks unless otherwise specified.

Thank You
Many thanks to Ms. Sara Mansicalco for all of her efforts with our ICS Easter Concert! What an incredible evening of music and worship! Thank you, Ms. Maniscalco, for sharing your musical and spiritual gifts with the ICS community! We are blessed to have you at Incarnation!

Gratitude is also extended to Mr. Brett Woodward and Ms. Rachel Noto for their respective work with our Irish Cup Championship last week. Furthermore, we thank the many parent volunteers and donors who helped to make this community building day such a huge success. Thank you!

ICS - Keeping With Its Tradition of Academic Excellence
Congratulations to ICS 6th grader Kaela Sanchez on winning 3rd place in the Tampa Bay Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest. We also congratulate and thank Mrs. Maria Casanas for all of her work with our ICS Spanish program, award-winning for the 2nd year in a row!

This is just another example of the strong tradition of academic excellence that ICS has enjoyed for over 50 years! GO IRISH!

Congratulations once again, Kaela! ICS is so proud of you!

Class of 2015 Graduation Mass - 5/27/15 (*starts at 8:00 a.m.)
Please note that we will begin our Celebration of the Eucharist with the members of the Incarnation Catholic School graduating Class of 2015 at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday May 27.

Families attending should make note of this time change so that we have plenty of time afterwards for our school awards.

We are so proud of the ICS Class of 2015 and we look forward to celebrating with them next Wednesday at 8:00 a.m.!

ICS Athletics

Many thanks to our student-athletes and their families for their support of our ICS Irish Athletic Department. Congratulations to all of our teams for an outstanding year. We look forward to honoring our ICS student-athletes after the Celebration of the Eucharist this Saturday May 23 (after the 4:30 p.m. Mass). If you have any questions, please contact Coach Garofolo: garofolov@icstampa.org.

GO IRISH!

Early Childhood at ICS
Anyone interested in PreK-3 or PreK-4 (VPK) at ICS for next school year should contact our Early Childhood Director, Ms. Rachel Noto: notor@icstampa.org.  We are very excited about this new phase of Catholic education at ICS and we look forward to sharing more about it in the weeks and months ahead.

Please note our Early Learning Program Vision:

ICS ELP is a place that

*delights in being with children and sharing in their joys;

*nurtures a child's ability to wonder, explore and create;

*believes children learn through hands-on play and through meaningful social interactions with both adults and peers;

*provides a student-centered environment that promotes social, emotional, spiritual and moral growth  and development;

*supports parents in their role as primary educators of their child(ren);

*partners with Incarnation Catholic School to foster a sense of community and family among students and faculty.

Please pray for the success of this new addition to our school! If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact Ms. Noto.

IOWA Assessment Scores
IOWA Assessment scores from Riverside, the testing company, will be sent home today. Please remember that we have not yet had a chance to run the longitudinal and percentage based reports that we gave out last year. We will have those ready by the end of the school year.

Please utilize our Iowa Interpretation Video Series (http://incarnationcsca.blogspot.com/2014/06/standardized-testing-video-series.html) to help you interpret these reports.

To help decipher the forms being sent today, Video 3 will be the most helpful:
